Completed my first Topps Million Trade

I traded away my 1987 Wade Boggs for a 1983 Dwight Evans.  I’ve already got the Dewey, but I just wanted to make a trade on the site.  I wouldn’t pay to have the Boggs shipped to me, but I would pay to have the Dewey shipped.  Now I’m curious as to what happens when someone makes an offer for a card that you own.  Does it send an e-mail?  This offer was accepted fairly quickly so I’ve got to assume so.  I’m hoping that I can trade some of my other 87 cards for Evans or Hrbek cards just for the heck of it.

Nice trade. U win on that one for sure.

Hey do you know how much it costs to ship a card? I can't find a price anywhere on the website.

It's $3 for the first card and .50¢ for each additional card. I won't even consider a shipment until after I rip my Updates and Highlights box, but after that I hope to have a handful of cards that I'm willing to bite the bullet on and have shipped to me.

K thnx. The best card I've seen anyone redeem is a 1960 Killebrew.

Through the trade interface, you can see all of the cards that have been claimed so far. Search by name and you can see some nice Ted Williams and Pete Rose cards that have been awarded. Some people have gotten some of the buyback autographs as well.

Don't ask me how I came across this page, but I actually think you and I did this deal. I just figured you were a Sox fan who preferred and '83 Evans over an '87 Boggs, and I knew that I could make the Boggs work for me in acquiring some Astros cards I wanted. Wow, what are the odds?

for multi-player RC's.....sorry, forgot to mention that.

This is the same Anonymous as above.......I'm not a fan of the search mechanism. I am looking for a Mike Schmidt rc and didn't realzie until yesterday that you have to search using the title of the card instead of the name. so, if you're looking for a Fisk RC, for instance, you would have to type in "Rookie Catchers" or whatever is on that card.

Yes, that part of the search engine is definitely clunky. I'm trying to get a trade for the one Kent Hrbek card that has been claimed so far and for the life of me couldn't remember what was on the card until I went and looked at the one that I have.

Thanks for the trade, I think this is what this site is all about. The majority of the cards won won't have a ton of book value, but it's all about sending those cards off to people who will be happier with them.
